Open School Session
(OTWARTY ZJAZD SZKOŁY)
(14-16 October 2011)

This was probably the first time in my life, when listening to
the stories of Polish Christians who are ministering in
different parts of the world, that I clearly saw that Christians
from Poland are beginning to play an important role in
mission activities. This thought came as Honorata related
how quickly she gathered 60 thousand zł ($ 20,000) for
orphans in Uganda, as Jerzy told about involvement of
Christians and churches from Poland in missions among
Gypsies in Ukraine, and as Sylwek reported progress in India
where Polish Christians were involved. It's a fact and it is
happening, that we as Polish Christians are having a
significant contribution to world missions.
The task in front of Christians worldwide is still huge. We
need to reach 1.2 billion people in the world with the Gospel. This means that every day about 66 thousand
people worldwide die without knowing Christ. It also means that these people go to a place where there is no
God – they go to Hell. What a tragic statistic, one which should move each of us who knows salvation in Jesus
Christ. This information was shared during the sessions at the
Open Mission School weekend.
